We started operations in the year 2020 and plan to continue to serve the community as both the Ponder and Shelby families have for generations.

Ponder Funeral Home came to Sikeston in 1982, joining the Crews-Welsh Funeral Home at their original location on East Gladys at New Madrid Streets. In 1992 a new facility was built at the current location on North Main.

Shelby Funeral Home has been providing services to East Prairie and Mississippi County for over 100 years. Established in 1900 by the Shelby Family, it is an original pillar of the community.
